Hi
I am Connie and I would like to introduce you to the Southeast Community Drama Ministry.
 
The drama team has been performing  dramas in this church for the last 15 years and we enjoy being connected to the people, the way we are.
 
Drama, is so How we live in today's society, without really knowing it,the ups the down's, the good with the bad. What we try to do here at SECC is put everyday drama that happens in our lives, together with what God has for us to help us overcome life's battles.. God is there to pull us through, because he comes to where we are.
 
Our Mission Statement: "To Be authentic Followers of Christ"
The drama team of SECC is an intrigal part of the mission set forth by the church, to reach the community for Christ, and to up hold the integrity and unity that Christ himself teaches for our day to day lives.
 
Matthew 5:16 ----- "Let your light shine before man, that they may see your good deeds and praise the father in Heaven (NIV)
 
Our Goal as a drama ministry is, to reach a community who needs to know Christ as their Savior, to let them know that Christ loves them no matter what they have come through, and that he will help them through life's up's and down's as he promised.
The drama's that are done in the service are to ask a question or make a statement that will be answered by the message. The normal everyday life situation that maybe we can laugh at or even cry over, knowing that there is an answer for us, with a promise from God.
The theaters that are done are to bring the community in, and to share with them, our love for Christ.
 
Our Objective as a drama ministry is, To develop a drama that will help the message relate to the listener in a visual way, and to help us understand the very important need for a relationship with God.
 
I welcome you to SECC and all the minstries it has for you. I love my chruch and I want to share it with you.
