Kindergarten to 5th grade
On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud and good leaders always care.
Before our kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these 3 things stick...
Based on Luke 2:52 – “…and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.”
1. I need to make the wise choice.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Most kids form their idea of who God is and choose whether or not they’ll have a relationship with Him before they leave…the 5th grade!!!
We want to make sure they know all about who God is and know how to have a relationship with Him.
We minister to kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade. We have a super high energy program that reaches our kids in a fun and meaningful way.
Our program centers around a new virtue (Honor, Friendship, Honesty, etc.) and a new memory verse each month. Learning God’s word is a big focus!

On Sunday morning:
1. We start out with Praise and Worship. Our awesome dance team leads the group in songs and dances that get the kids moving and teach them how to worship God through music.
2. Then we have an interactive bible story presentation. The kids are a big part of this-they even get up on stage to help.
3. Kids then go to their small groups. Here they have a consistent small group leader(s) and have a chance to get to know other kids their age.
Kids are led in activities/crafts/games that focus on the bible story, memory verses, and the virtue. We want the kids to remember what was taught and more importantly, be able to use it in their lives (home & school).
