I want to give ya
the 411 on all that
is “the youth
group” here
at SECC. Our number
one goal is to share
the truth as clearly
as possible. We
are not worried
about sounding smart
or trying to impress
people. We want
the life changing
message of the man,
Jesus Christ, to
be as clear and
understandable as
possible. So, how
do we do that? The
answer is quite
simple. What ever
works gets worked!
We try to use music
that the kids can
relate to, movie
clips that they
may recognize and
a vocabulary they
can receive. We
don’t waste
our time trying
to fit a style.
We spend our time
trying to be effective.
Just like Jesus,
we will use whatever
means are at our
disposal to accomplish
the ever important
end: a young person
that is a fully
devoted follower
of Jesus Christ. |
